When will file uploads be supported?

I saw that the file upload feature would be provided under other questions, but it seems like some time has passed. Could you please tell me roughly when this feature will be launched? I really want to purchase the pro version, but for now, the lack of the file upload feature is what's holding me back from making a decision.
